Truck Literature Featured in Museum Exhibit

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington, DC, September 7-29 show, "Transportation: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" will contain paintings, photographs, sculptures, and a collection of books relating to the transportation industry. Email this article Featured in the book display will be Romancing the Road, by Terri and Tim Brady, and other books by Write Up The Road Publishing: Three Arm Truckin' and Other Tales of the Highway, by Gary Bricken, Reflections Thru My Windshield Part 1 and Part 2, by David Madill, Me and You and a Truck Named Blue, by Robin Stears, Twilight's Last Gleaming, by T. Brady and J. Del Monte, Quick and Simple Record Keeping and Gearing Up 4 Profits, both by Tim Brady, and You Know You’re Married To A Trucker When … by Miles and Nadine Wheeler. A slide show of photographs taken from the windshield of Brady’s eighteen-wheeler will also run continuously as part of the exhibit. The exhibit will feature virtually every mode of transportation, ranging from the invention of the wheel to the exciting visions of the future. Many new artists are expected to enter the exhibit, in keeping with the Museum's mission to introduce emerging artists and art forms.
