Company Equipment Driver of the Year Contest: Doug Ladds of MacKinnon Transport Earns Grand Prize
Paradise Island, The Bahamas – In the 19th Annual Company Equipment Driver of the Year contest, sponsored by Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), Detroit Diesel, and Truckers News, three TCA-member company drivers were honored as the nation's best. The awards, presented March 3rd during TCA's Annual Convention at The Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas, were based on the drivers' excellent safety records, unblemished work histories, and involvement in their communities and industry.
Experienced Drivers Benefit from New Pay and Incentive Package While Training Close to Home
Con-way Truckload announced today the opening of a driver orientation site in Phoenix. Con-way Truckload plans to hire more than 250 experienced professional truck drivers from several Western states, including Arizona, Nevada, California, New Mexico and Colorado over the next 12 months.
