The participating, volunteer Trucker Buddies serve as excellent goodwill ambassadors for the trucking industry in working with school children to enhance their educational experience.

The students in Donna Lavold's 3rd grade class in Waupaca, Wisconsin are not only big fans of the Green Bay Packers, they think their Trucker Buddy, Harold "Bruce" Moss III is a hero too. Student, Kya, nominated Moss because, "He is the greatest Trucker Buddy [and] he's a Packer fan just like me!"
